Spokescouncil is a bike advocacy club based out of the University of Central Florida. Along with teaching bicycle repairs for free to anyone willing to learn, they work with university officials to make East Orlando more bike-friendly. They hold many different group rides that cater to everyone from beginners to racers and through our Facebook, offer easy access to the UCF biking community. Whether you’re looking to get a bike, find people to ride with, or find out more about cycling in Orlando, Spokescouncil is a great place to start.
Current project goals are starting a bike share program at UCF, getting bike repair stands installed on campus, and starting an ongoing repair workshop series. If you’d like to get involved or just want to come out and ride, check out their website or find them on Facebook.
