The University of Central Florida’s main campus is home to a diverse landscape. In 2012, LNR hired Woolpert Inc. to conduct an inventory of landscape assets as part of a workforce analysis using ArcGIS. Advances in geospatial tools provide the opportunity to create a spatially-explicit landscape inventory in which staffing requirements are linked to individual landscape assets. The inventory showcases the acreage of turf, planting beds, pedestrian pavement, vehicle pavement and conservation areas which are maintained by LNR.
Turf | 265 Acres | |
Turf Edges | 614,985 Feet
Planting Beds | 46.4 Acres
Pedestrian Pavement | 55 Acres
Vehicle Pavement | 140 Acres
Conservation Areas | 922.5 Acres |
